The price is right if traveling on a budget but don't expect any frills. Clean room, comfortable beds, flat pillows. "Continental" breakfast was a joke - and only seating for 4 people. Good location - right across from My Old Kentucky Home Stare Park.

The owners were nice. The hotel was old but mostly clean. The pool was very nice and clean. The area around the pool was also nice. The breakfast was cereals, breads, waffles. Not too bad for free! For the price, you get what you pay for. We would stay there again.

Only good about this place is free WiFi and comfortable bed. But it had a weird smell and something needs to be repaired.. I think washroom. No hair dryer! I only stayed here due to coming in from Louisville so late and needed to sleep badly. I think the rate is a rip off when it could easily be a... More

Stayed here for only one night, thankfully. The pictures are very misleading for this motel is typical of most cheap motels in USA. The room was basic, breakfast was in the reception area with a choice of one cereal and two day old bagels. There were only two tables and these were overlooked by the proprietor in case you tried... Stayed here two nights while visiting a relative. Photo is deceptive. This place is so old that they still use real keys to open the doors. It is run by people who do not understand what most folks expect in accommodations. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The Internet worked well. But the advertised breakfast did not exist.... More

Cheap and it felt cheap. Moldy smell. Uncomfortable beds and pillows. Unfriendly at front desk. Old TV. It is not walking distance to town. Shampoo is in little ketchup like packets. The room was clean.

We stayed at the Old Bardstown in on March 9, 2014 on our way through to the Makers Mark Distillery. We picked it because it was affordable and convenient - right in Bardstown. The Manager/Owner was nice, a bit reserved, but that was fine. Our room was clean and tidy and we liked having a small fridge. The owner graciously... More

Old. Clean and remodeled. Need new TVs. Old and dim. Service not good. Thin towels and not enough. Only two per room. Would check other hotels near Blue Ridge Parkway. Many workers and others living there. Poor parking available. Rooms open to outside and upstairs not handicap ready. No elevator.

I cannot give this place an excellent or even very good. The location is ok and not the most disgusting place I've ever stayed, and even the price was ok compared to other places in the area. But that is about it.The staff is not friendly at all and act all huffy if you dare to bother them, you are in... More
