We stayed here on the last night of our two week road trip. We stayed at 4 other La Quinta properties and 4 other brands and found this to one of the two worst experiences. The property looks like it was recently remodeled but a coat of paint does not really cover up the problems such as dirty hall ways, odd access, loud AC unit, and poor service. Our room had newer beds, carpet and furnishings and was comfortable. The front desk was clueless and twice gave me the wrong directions to the room. There is only one entrance as the others have been converted to one-way exits and poor security as they would not fully close without effort. Had to go up to the second floor for ice as there is no machine on the main level. Found a dead rat or rodent in the morning outside the hotel. There must be better options more
