My husband and ive stayed here off and on for years more him than me since he hunts. This place is a pit. Your worst hotel nightmare comes true here. The last trip I took there when I got out of the truck there was vomit all over the side walk. They don't put any money back in to the... More

I checked into the EconoLodge in WaKeeney, Kansas for a pre-confirmed two night stay. I was informed by the desk clerk that I could only be in the room until the morning. The explanation was that the property had been sold and I would need to pack up and leave in the morning due to the property transfer. Not wanting... More

This hotel was gross and I will never stay here again. We were caught in very bad weather and needed a place to stay that we could afford. We ended up with bed bugs from here and we didn't find out till we got home and was cleaning all our pillows and clothes. I came home with 6 bed bug... More

I can’t believe Econo Lodge would associate themselves with the facility in Wakeeney, KS. The staff was difficult to understand and didn’t know how to operate the credit card equipment. I found it odd that they processed our credit card upon check-in when we normally see the card processed upon check out. We arrived in the evening when the area... More

This is one of the cheapest hotels along I-70 in west Kansas, but I would only stay here as a last resort. I checked in late a little before midnight and the man at the front desk was arguing with another guest over some issue. When it came time to check me in he kept complaining about the other guest... This hotel got new owners last November 2014 and it has gone down hill very fast. I would sleep outside before sleeping here. Dirty, trashy, broken. Help is very rude. I would surely keep moving on to the Super 8!

Breakfast did not have a wide selection. They have ordered new tv's so they still had the old ones. This we made do with. One of the young men working there helped me when my room key quit working. They are very courteous, but the motel is older so they're doing the best with what they have.

I stayed here because I was on my 14 day roadtrip and hadn't stayed at an Econo Lodge yet, and it looked like they may have smoking rooms. My first room the young desk guy gave me was near the bar next door and the door would not open. When I went back to the desk, the other man was... More

Don't know about some of these reviewers but this was tied for the worst place I've ever stayed at and would have received no rating if I had the choice. If we hadn't already paid in advance for our non-refundable night, we would have left as soon as we opened the door of the room in the middle of the... More

Price was okay. Had to change rooms because the first room was not very clean. Second room was not much better. Bathrooms had mold. Seems to be the hotel where work crews stay. Breakfast was not very appetizing. Staff was very friendly.
