This hotel is a typical Fairfield/Hampton/Holiday Inn Express layout. Easy access off I135, so if you're on I70, you'll have to go south a couple of miles to get there. There are a few fast food places around the hotel, but we found a Chiles south of the hotel, and dinner was great! more

Like someone else mentioned, as soon as you open the door, you are hit with a musty smell. The headboard and linen and tables were ho hum but the desk chairs and reading chair were quite yummy. After staying in a newer Fairfield Inn the night before, this location was a disappointment. The room had a musty smell and needed new mattresses. Was unaware it did not meet AAA's standards. Lots of foot traffic in front of the hotel and was unsure of security. Would probably not stay here again. more

I stayed at this hotel with family on a stopover on a longer road trip. The Fairfield Inn of Salina, KS is a great place to stay. Ours was an overnight stay with great hometown service. The head clerk definitly went out of her way to make us feel at home. They are changing their facility into all non-smoking rooms. Ours was still smelly and she brought up an air purifier for us to use.... more

This hotel has nice rooms. The rooms are larger than the typical Fairfield Inn. The rooms are clean. The hotel is quiet.
