You do have to keep in mind that this place is located in Rural Saskatchewan. The staff is friendly, rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. The pool is very unique and really has a healing property with it. Not much out there in terms of food and attractions, especially in the winter. The pool and relaxing bed though... More

The hotel is pretty average but clean and comfortable. Food is pretty good quality and great portion sizes and reasonable prices. Don't forget you are in a village of 250 people in the centre of Saskatchewan. What is really amazing about the place is the spa. It is so relaxing and you float right on the water. And it makes... We came on the 27th for two nights checked in at 3 and had to wait two hours to get our room because they were not cleaned. That is rediculious have to still leave at noon so we lost two hours in room. Second of all the buffet in the morning is very like hospital food H ashbrowns were all... More

I thank you for your comments, and am truly sorry about your very long wait to get your room. I can promise you that this is an isolated incident, only due to a lack of housekeeping staff on that particular day due to illnesses. Please contact me at your earliest convenience at 306-946-2233, or email dhmanitousprings@sasktel.net for a more personal... More

I booked a two day stay for our anniversary, it included massages as part of the package. We checked in and went for a late lunch before checking out the spa. I should of known from the restaurant things were going to get worse. The meal was a disappointment. I expected quality ingredients and warm food at the spa, at... More

This hotel was built in the 1980's and I think Manitou Springs has fallen on some hard times the last few years. The hotel is starting to show it's age, and it has developed a bit of a musty smell. It could use a coat of paint and some fixtures changed to brighten it up a bit. That said the... More

Thank you for your honest and candid review, as it helps us to improve! I disagree, however, with your comment about our Resort falling on hard times recently, as our tourism business has steadily increased over the past 4 years as we continue to make improvements, and i would hope that it would certainly continue to gain popularity in the... It is not a fancy hotel, it is a hidden gem but in the other hand it is truly and approachable. The staff is polite and helpful and always wears smiles on the face. We have to thank the janitor who keep the place spotless. Our bedroom got individual ac / heater, and the bed is much more comfortable than... More

I have stayed here both for business and pleasure and its my favorite place to stay in the area. it is reasonably priced for what you get. Don't expect a big city luxury spa feel. For example, I once had a room that had "hot" and "cold" hand written on the shower knob in waterproof pen. The spa pool itself... More

I thank you for taking the time to write a review about our Resort! You are correct in that the dining room is under new management, and in fact the hotel management is now taking care of the dining room and it is called the Waters Edge Restaurant. Please be sure to give it a try next time you stay... More

We were pleasantly surprised by the crisp, clean room with a view of the prairies' "Dead Sea". If you pick a quiet time to visit the spa, it's really a treat. The complimentary buffet gives you what you pay for, which is just fine considering the resources available in such a small town. The seasoned servers will go out of... More

We've been to Manitou Springs Resort and Mineral Spa numerous times. The staff are very accommodating. Rooms are clean, bathrooms are spotless. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel, one for fine dining and the other cheaper but good. They offer spa treatments in house and they have a great little store for shopping...it carries creams, clothing, bathing-suits, jewelry, shoes... More
