Stayed here for one night after the Big 12 Championship game. Little confusion on check in - someone with the same last name as me but not related was also staying in the hotel and they checked me into his room by mistake, and took 10 minutes to fix, but other than that it was alright. The rooms were pretty... more

I stayed 3 times at the Wyndham Gardens in Overland Park. Staff is friendly but other than that you really don't get your money worths at this hotel. I used to pay a corporate rate of 79.99$ a night including breakfast. Last week the manager decided to raise the price to 99.99$ a night WITHOUT breakfast. The walls are so... more

I stayed at this hotel back in 2001, and had a pleasant experience then and thought our Oct 2008 stay would be similar. Not the case. The hotel has not been cared for our maintained. Thin, dingy carpets, general dirty feeling to it. The sheets were so thin that I could hold them up and watch the tv thru them.... more

I recently booked two nights at the overland park Wyndham Garden Hotel because I was attending a meeting there and thought it would be convenient. I only stayed one night - my entire group checked out and moved to the nearby Sheraton for the second night. The hallways are dark, dingy, and in need of repair. The beds and bedding... more

Looks ok from the outside & front desk, but this hotel really needs to be repaired & updated....rooms, hallways, lobby, stairwells, and all. I am picky and wasn't miserable here, but being so badly outdated & in need of repairs, it was definitely not up to my standards. The rooms were clean. Room & bathroom were roomier than in most... more

Our room was fine, but there were a couple of issues that will keep us from staying at this hotel again: 1. No elevator - made carting an infant in a stroller to the second floor somewhat difficult. We were told there were no first floor rooms available. 2. Dining - no continental breakfast in the morning with the room... more

I stayed here twice in the past 2 months. The property is badly aged and needs a complete overhaul, especially since there are so many better options in the area. Try the Hyatt instead. On my first trip, someone had smoked the nonsmoking room before me, and I had to change rooms. The second trip I had a nonworking tv... more

Admittedly this is not the best Wyndham property by far but considering that they basically give their rooms away on Hotwire and Priceline it does represent a great value. The property looks it's age from the outside. The lobby is in decent shape except for the front desk area itself which was beaten up. The hallways were in very bad... more

We booked this hotel through Priceline and got a great rate. However, when we arrived, we discovered that this hotel has some problems. First, we were told that it didn't have an elevator to the second floor. This seemed odd. Then we made our way through the maze of the hotel to our room and our keys didn't work. After... more
