the concept of hospitiality is not understood at this hotel. The fungus was among us in the bathroom. We complained and asked for another room but it did not happen. breakfast is cleared at 9:00 SHARP even on holidays and Saturdays. The breakfast attendant informed us at 5 til 9 we were out of luck for sausage because she would not be making more! The biscuts were frozen and we are still trying to figure out how it is possible to mess up a malted waffle, but it must be possible because the taste was so poor we could not eat it. We were looking for a room with a sofa suite much like the Country Inn and Suites and were informed this was Ottawa ,kansas so don't expect to find a hotel that offered ammenities. What a poor attitude for a charming town. Stay in Kansas City and drive through this town. The hotels are run by a few families who have quit trying.We stayed here a few years ago but this place has gone down, down, down.! more
