Two years ago I had a business lunch meeting at the Landmark Inn. The food was wonderful. I was enchanted by this beautiful old building. It's just two hours from home so it was unlikely that I would have the opportunity to stay overnight here. When there was a two day meeting in Oberlin I jumped at the chance to... More

We stayed here twice during a recent business trip, the first time I was in room 4 and the second time in room 7. Room four is large, and lovely, and has a great fireplace (which was really nice at night). Room 7 is nice, has a large bathtub, and a nice shower too. Gary was nice enough to put... More

The LandMark Inn was a real classic from its heydeys, and it has been lovingly restored to its earlier glory, then decorated with lovely antiques of the period. The restaurant served wonderful food and sinful desserts. (Women: Stroll down to The Dresser, a clothing store owned by the local women.) Oberlin is a beautifully kept and very friendly town, a... Located in an old bank building in a quaint downtown with wide red brick streets running out in all directions. This Friday night stay had almost no traffic after 5pm. So peaceful. The rooms are so tastefully done in Victorian era. Gary, the owner, a former banker, is a wonderful host. The inn has a small classy restaurant. We had... More

I had family that used to live in Oberlin and whenever we would visit we would stay at the LandMark Inn. The owner is very friendly/helpful and the rooms clean. The food is excellent too. Every morning for breakfast was a home cooked meal. If you are in Oberlin, you have to stay at the LandMark Inn, you will not... More

As a part of a 7 week tour of the mid west and west arrived at the Landmark Inn on my birthday. Was Greeted by Gary who was very informative and directed me to the local museum which is well worth a visit. On my return moved into my room and was amazed by the authenticity of the furnishings. Gary... More

We visit Oberlin, Ks because our daughter, son-in-law and grandson live there. We have stayed at the Landmark Inn and highly recommend. Gary, the owner, bought the property and has restored it complete with period antiques (mattresses are modern and comfortable). The rooms are named (i.e. judges chambers). There are many old photos and historical information. Our last visit was... More

Very cool B & B in an old bank building. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. This is not a modern hotel, but don't pass this one up. Gary was extremely accommodating and friendly. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!!

This was such a great surprise along our road trip. Up until a few weeks ago I’d never heard of Oberlin Kansas nor thought I would ever need to go there, for any reason. After our stop at the Landmark Inn I know we’ll definitely be back. The owner and operator Gary was so wonderful and made sure that we... More

I stayed at the LandMark Inn for one night with my sister. It is probably the best accommodations for miles around, as we looked online and found little else available at any price! This old bank building has been meticulously renovated and carefully decorated with period antiques. We were greeted with friendly, Midwest hospitality, and the room we stayed in... More
