This was our second time staying at Acorns Resort, we've stayed at the lodge, cabin 4, and cabin 9, AWESOME experience both times. Love the fact the everything is already there, the only thing you have to bring is food and your personal items, decor is great, an over all very homey feeling. Would highly recommend..

Great place as described and employee response on any questions was exceptionally fast. Very pleasant, and friendly. The new additions look great. We stayed in cabin #2 with 4 adults and had plenty of room for all equipment and luggage we brought.

This cabin is very well situated; it is along the main road three doors down from the main office. We rented cabin #9, parking was not an issue, which was great, it was large, and tastefully decorated. Five bedrooms, two and a half bath, upstairs, downstairs with a wonderful kitchen setup. We had a 30-year college class reunion for K-State's homecoming weekend. Cabin 8, with its 5 bedrooms & 2 1/2 baths, served us well - all eight of us. It was an easy 40 minute drive to and from Manhattan. The accomodations served us beautifully. Nice beds, clean lodge, wonderful staff! My only critique is the upstairs 1/2 bath needed... More

Great resort! Stayed in cabin 5, total of 5 adults. Cabin location, excellent! Great lake view. Directly on swimming beach. Nice trails to walk. We stayed for a week in May to be near Ft. Riley before I son deployed. The weather was great..and view was awesome. They do have very nice cabins but we stayed in the lodge. Rooms are very spacious, clean, comfortable. Only 8 or 9 rooms so very small and quiet lodge. Take your own food and grill, etc. Nice... More
