Nice courtyard, room was clean and bed was comfortable. Not suitable for a several-night or extended stay. Reasonably priced and well located. Wi-fi was easy to pick up and stay connected. Continental b-fast is very slim and carb-y, but good if you just want to grab something and go. Friendly staff!

Good bargain for the money. Let's face it, chances are your not making Meade Kansas a destination spot. This is not the Ritz but it is a place to lay your head and get some sleep. Pizza Hut is right up the street and a gas station right across the street. My wife and I were on a motorcycle and... More

Pleasant staff and as clean as it could be but this property is in need of investment. All surfaces in our room needed replacement. The window crank was broken. The ice maker lid was broken. The wood molding is at end of life. The TV is dated....This is not to say you shouldn't stay here, it just needs updating. Breakfast... More

This is a very dated hotel. Very well priced but you get what you pay for. The owners are very nice and accommidating. They have nice big tv's,and a satalite with lots of channels. However, it is in need of updating and repairing. The rooms are good size unless you get one with two beds, then it is cramped. There... More

I was pleasantly surprised to find a wonderful flat screen TV in the room with a great picture. I also had a frig and microwave. The shower was great !!, the bed was very comfortable. The heating unit was new and worked extremely well. They offer a small breakfast in the morning as well. I had a nice table with... More

Western Kansas is not known for its abundance of hotels. There are the typical chain hotels in Dodge and Garden City. However most rates are pushing $150 or more. For the economy minded traveler the Moon Mist Motels serves the needs of a weary traveler looking for a place to stay. The staff are nice, the rooms are clean and... More

We were traveling back from Juarez and came across this hotel on the way home. The owners were very friendly. The room we were in was very clean. There is a fridge and microwave in the room. The beds were comfortable. Not that we plan to go to Juarez any time soon but we would definitely stay here again. Love... More

Overall, this is a good motel. It is old but clean. The bed was hard. Everything in the room worked OK. Breakfast was basic. Plenty of ice. We stayed here 1 night during a 2 week trip from New Mexico to Ohio.

Budget Host Moonmist Motel - what can I say, this would be a good motel in Vietnam but not the US. Here you will find a cosy old-fashioned 50s motel which has seen better days, and now is run by a friendly Vietnamese family. They are very sweet and anxious to please. We had room 7 with microwave and fridge.The... More

This place does not meet the minimum requirements for sanitation. The bedspread, when folded back was dirty and had what looked like blood spots in several locations. The sheets were as thin as a half-ply sheet of cheap toilet paper. The room was dirty, unattractive and poorly maintained. I'd sleep in the car before sleeping here. Also, there was a... More
