The Holiday Inn Express in McPherson is a great new (built in May 2007) hotel in this tiny stopover town in central Kansas. The hotel looks great and the staff are excellent. The breakfast buffet is just what you need to get on your way quickly in the morning without a hassle. Rooms are well appointed and in immaculate condition.... more
The Holiday Inn Express is directly in front of the Days Inn. It appears to be recently constructed. Landscaping along the northside is not yet completed. The smell of new carpet is strong. There was only one person manning the front desk on the evening I checked in; she appeared somewhat overwhelmed, though she maintained a friendly and professional demeanor.... more
