Rather than stay in Topeka, we opted to stay at this casino/hotel which was just 10 miles from our family that we were visiting. When you walk in the lobby, you will immediately smell the smoke that has seeped into the floors and walls from the adjoining casino. If you are a smoker than this obviously won't bother you. They... We really enjoyed our one night stay at the full-hook RV park at Prairie Band. We stopped on a Thursday night for gaming, overnight stay, and do laundry at the RV Park. Clean, very friendly and helpful. We really had a great time gaming (good selection) and a great meal (including deserts) at the steakhouse. We will make it a... More

Stayed for 1 night in June because I got a comped room. The room was pretty average - I think I was in the older part of the hotel - meadows tower section. It was a little bit away from the hot tubs, lobby and casino floor and didn't have a view of anything but the other part of the... More

My family spent the night on May 15th. The rooms are large, comfortable and very clean. The landscape in the courtyard is extraordinarily beautiful, with a hot tubs built into the landscape. Everyone is kind friendly and very helpful. Valet parking is free and that is a great perk if you have difficulty with bags or walking. Overall an outstanding... More

We have stayed at this hotel several times since it first opened. Our most recent visit was a mixed experience. Our room was free so I have to say that the value was good. The casino was busy and we saw quite a few players win jackpots. We had planned to eat dinner at the buffet but the lines were... More

My wife and I visited the Prairie Band Casino last week. We usually gamble in the Kansas City area casinos but decided to take the bus to Prairie Band for a change of pace. The bus trip is free and you get $5 in casino play. I got $25 for getting their players card. By earning a few points in... More

This casino does not know how to reward their players. I was there gambling for a week with one day of sleep and have lost $1,540. When I asked for a free night stay, the casino host refused to give me one and the front desk appeared to be snooty. I was willing to pay a discounted rate but she... More

If you were merely going here to stay in the rooms at Prairie Band, thw rooms are nice and I could recommend one if you were receiving a discounted price. Otherwise I would simply stay in Topeka. We ate in the buffet several times, and it is very average both in the selection of foods and food taste (for example,... More
