Like the title says the room was nice and clean and fresh smelling. The staff at this motel did their job well but that was it. Robots would be a good replacement for the ones we had to deal with. Penny's diner out front is a quaint little restaurant with average food and prices. We travel through this area about three... More

Wasn't expecting much based on the town, and usually small hotels echo.their surroundings. New rooms, easy access and authentic-looking 50's diner out front make this a pleasant place to stay. The only complaint I have is the spotty-at-best wireless WiFi service. Complimentary breakfast in the diner rounds out a great stay, but don't look for anything local for entertainment. More

Have stayed here many times for family visits. Usually ask for the "new" section, but have never had any complaints about the rooms, always ready for us, nice staff!! More

I'd read a review online about all the train personnel that stay at the hotel and was a little concerned that it was going to be noisy but it was one of the quietest hotels I've ever stayed in. The room was well decorated, clean and comfortable. The room came with a complimentary breakfast at Penny's Diner right in front... More

I had never stayed at this chain before. It's a good bargain. The room was quite comfortable. They give you a coupon for breakfast at the diner that sits in front of the motel. There are three separate buildings. The one I was in had a nice little covered "back porch" with some rockers, which was nice to use on... More

Don't let the dull exterior or many work trucks in the lot put you off. We took an extended trip throughout the midwest last month and for the money, this was a good, clean, quiet and friendly hotel. The workmen are mostly railroad workers and the railroad contracts for a wing of rooms. We were put up in a different... More

I stayed here for business and have no complaints. I stay in 4 and 5 star hotels all of the time and short of having extra amentities, the Oak Tree Inn is perfect. My room was very quiet and clean, had no bed bugs (I checked), and the WIFI worked well. The rate was cheap and the location was close... More

My husband and I traveled to Marysville to attend an 18th birthday celebration for a family friend's daughter. My experience actually started with a phone call about 2 weeks before our stay. I had called and spoke with Jessica who was very friendly and answered my questions and reserved the room over the phone. We only stayed one night but... More

The Oak Tree Inn is a fairly new 2-story motel. I would describe it as "functional." The decor is minimal and the public areas are average at best. However, the rooms are clean, pleasant, well-lit and comfortable. The staff was excellent. The free breakfast was not your usual donuts and coffee in the lobby, but made-to-order bacon and eggs. If... More

My room wasn't ready when I arrived, because my online reservation didn't get there, but the staff was very helpful and quickly readied the room. Very comfortable, quiet room. Hardly aware of other guests in the hall. Stayed two days and very pleased. Staff friendly and helpful. More
