SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! This place is HORRIBLE!! I went to The Clairon with about 15 of my co-workers for training in Manhattan, KS and we stayed for about a week. I would definitely say do NOT stay here if you are on business because there is a good chance you won't get too much sleep!!! Here are the issues we... more

Very shabby for the price and while sleeping they started construction directly above our rooms at 6:30 am on a Saturday morning. We were there for a graduation and were extremely disappointed in the hotel. They have done some minor remodel but not as fresh and remodeled as they would like you to believe. more

First off, we booked through Expedia which I thought was the way to go when booking hotels. When we found out, we had ended up with a room with two double beds, Clarion would not help us change rooms to one with one King bed. We're at the counter ready to check in and they're telling us that we have... more

When this was the old Holidome owned by Holiday Inn it was arguably one of the worst hotels ever. With the new relationship with Clarion it has gotten marginally better - primarily with the level of service. The rooms are still in desperate need of upgrading. For the price there are much better options in Manhattan. It is a shame... more

The beds are comfortable and that's the only good thing I can say about the place. It's dirty. The showers drain poorly. The bathroom is large enough for only one person to get cleaned and dressed. No counter space. Walls are paper thin and if you stay clouse to the pool you will have to get used to kids screaming.... more

This place gets two stars from us because while it's a reasonably safe place to lay your head for a night or two, it's got a few nasty little problems. First, it's not very clean. The room we stayed in had a dirty carpet -- our 21-month-old's feet were filthy after running around barefoot on it. The shower curtain showed... more

Stayed at this hotel for 8 nights while on business in Manhattan. Overall, it was okay, but I would rate it as a 2 star not 3 star. Pros: - Affordable. - Front desk staff generally friendly & helpful. - Free shuttle service (2 vans) - with a little notice, staff will drop you off & pick you up at... more

We booked this hotel the day before arrival on Memorial Day weekend, so I suspect the rate of $116 was due to the holiday. Don't pay more than $80 to stay here, folks. There was an odd odor in our nonsmoking room, which we suspect was due to cigarette smoke. (I think maybe the whole hotel is nonsmoking??) The hotel... more

We came into town for a baseball tournament and, after our stay last year, we were looking forward to seeing how the remodel was turning out. I can't say how happy I was with my overall experience. The staff at this place was fantastic, going above and beyond for me and my family. The pool area was a great place... more

We lived at this hotel while the power was out at our house for 10 days following a severe ice storm. Hotel rooms were at a premium with waiting lists hundreds long, and yet we were charged a very reasonable $79 per night for weeknights and $99 for weekends, and our doggie was allowed to join us. Renovations continued throughout... more
