Unimpressive, old hotel. They've tried updating it, but you can only polish a turd so much before you have to pitch it and start over. The bathrooms are extremely small. ie there's barely room for a toothbrush and shaving kit on the bathroom counter. Moreover, it's so small I suggest packing a screw driver to pop the hinges off and... More

Thank you for your feedback. I am very disappointed to hear that you had so many problems with your stay. This is an older hotel with smaller bathrooms. However I take great pride in offering a clean, well renovated and updated hotel with exceptional service and great amenities. Obviously that is not what you felt you received during your stay... From difficulties with my booking site which required multiple trips to front desk for repeated attempts to scan my credit card…to a heating/air unit whose temperature was so far off that the thermostat read 62 degrees but the room felt like 90... to a member of my team, a preferred member of the Holiday Inn being dismissed when requesting her... I was in Manhattan for a three day seminar. This was the hotel the seminar presenters had reserved. Courteous, efficient staff on every interaction I had with them. Houlihan's restaurant attached to the hotel, but there are far more varied and better dining options nearby. Breakfast is served daily in Houlihan's. Right across the street from Kansas State University, so... More

This place was made for visitors to the area. Walking distance from the campus at K-State, only a few miles from Tuttle Creek Lake, and within driving distance of Ft Riley, a high end restaurant right on site, and several others close. I arrived without reservations, and was pleasantly surprised to see they had a vacancy. The hotel receptionist was... More

We have stayed here with our family of six two times in the last year and had excellent stays both times. The first night of our first stay was not good, but it wasn't the hotels fault. We had two rooms on the end of the hallway right by the fire escape (also where all the smokers frequent). It was... More

This is our favorite hotel in Manhattan. It's location, right across the street from K-State, is ideal and close to everything. The staff are all very friendly and most helpful. The rooms were renovated when Holiday Inn took over and the new decor is very cool. The pool is outdoor and a nice size for a hotel pool. Having Houlihan's... More

I took a girls trip this Fall and I was so happy with the Holiday Inn's accomodations. There were no problems, no issues at all. Back when it was the Ramada years ago it was gross, service was poor and I hated that place. Thank goodness Holiday Inn took over. They really made it a better place. You cannot beat... More

The hotel is clean with a great location across the street from KSU. The room was a nice size except for the bathroom. The bathroom was extremely small with a very low ceiling with almost no counter space, very odd bathroom. We had breakfast at the restaurant at the hotel, it was very good. The hotel is about two blocks... More

This hotel seems to take advantage of the the customers; it seems since they are the only hotel downtown and within walking distance to campus and Aggieville. That they have forgotten the on how to treat their customers. We paid approximately $400 for a two night stay and I feel like I just was robbed. The hotel staff was rude... More
