We usually are pleased with a one night Quality Inn stay when on the road. We felt safe booking a Thursday night in Lawrence. Things were bad from the start. We arrived after dark. Using GPS we were able to locate the hotel but literally could not see it since the sign and outdoor lights of the property were not... More

I noticed a previous review about a wobbly toilet. It is still wobbling, I reported it to the front desk when I checked out and they said it would be taken care of. It would really look nice if they could replaced the stained, worn carpet at the entrance of our room with pretty tile like they used in the... More

Staff was very friendly and courteous. Hotel is in need of a remodel and was dirty. Stains on the carpet and comforter. Cigarette burn in comforter in the non-smoking room. The Wi-Fi dropped in and out.

This an older business and its age is showing. The staff was very friendly though. Breakfast was hot and tasty. This location could use a remodel and some repairs to stay viable, but it wasn't bad for an inexpensive stay.

Overall the hotel was average. It was a place to stay since everyplace else was booked. The free breakfast was a nice plus with hot items available such as waffles and eggs. I was disappointed in the heat/air no matter how low you put the thermostat it still blew hot air making it almost unbearable. We ended up shutting.it off... More

We recently spent two nights at this Quality Inn. It appears to be an older Inn but well maintained. It is some miles from the Interstate but still easy to find. We had reserved a first floor room and were able to park next to the room's door. There is an inner door which allows access to the Inn's corridors... More

Shame I'm just now getting around to writing this... I was flown out to Lawrence for a job for three weeks with a group of other folks and put up in this hotel. My first thought was that this place was terrible, and if you were looking for a great vacation place, you might even be right. But overall, throughout... More

This is an older property, a bit tired. The room was clean, but smelled musty and damp. We stayed on the first floor, which is really the basement. It felt like a dungeon, but room did look out onto a park-like setting. The outer doors require keys to open them at all hours. Our key did not work in one... More

Thought we'd give a different hotel a try. We usually stay at a hotel across the street from this place, but since we are always on the lookout for something better we gave it a shot. Check-in was smooth and the clerk was very pleasent. We had reserved a room with a king bed. Only available was on the "first"... More
