The Oread has been beyond accomodating. We had to ship a bunch of boxes since we live too far away to drive my daughter to college at KU. They accepted the 5 boxes we shipped, stored them for us for several days until we could move into the dorm, and were more than accomodating. The location of the hotel is... More

We found the Oread to be a really nice surprise. It was busy with our event and people we assume from the campus of Kansas University yet it was quiet. In the halls and specially the rooms. We stayed on the second floor in a King Classic. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was huge! We ate at... More

I stayed at this hotel while on a college visit at KU with my son. The location is perfect almost right on campus. Very modern rooms with comfortable amenities. Nice restaurant and bar. Service is attentive and excellent. If my son chooses KU this will be our new home away from home!

The Oread commands an impressive view at the top of the hill with it's fun fort or castle looking outside. The rooms are nothing short of impressive- they are beautiful and stylish without being over the top. Here you can relax in style and comfort. I also recommend going to the 9th floor Nest for spectacular views of the city... More

I recently stayed at the Oread for 2 nights with my teenage son. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The check-in was quick and staff were efficient. We had a double King room with a great view of the KU campus. It was a nice change to have 2 King beds in the room instead of 2 doubles. The room was... More

Very new, very clean and conveniently located between the university and the city centre. The staff was very nice and helpful. We stayed over a week and had our meetings in the hotel as well. The conference facilities are very versatile.

Very nice sized rooms. The staff was great, however not good if you need to get work done. They do have free WFI, which is good, but to plug in a laptop you literally have to crawl under the desk and there are few or no options by the bed without unplugging something else. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of... More

This hotel is in the perfect location! The service was great and the staff very helpful. We were here for a graduation and enjoyed our stay! There is a restaurant downstairs which is very good and a club in the basement. Overall very fun!
