This was the second time I have stayed at this hotel, the first time alone, this time with my wife and daughter. It is an older property that has been cosmetically kept up, is quiet at night, is convenient to The University of Kansas and downtown Lawrence, and relatively speaking (for Lawrence) is economical. The staff at this family-run motel is very accommodating and friendly. Free daily lobby breakfast offers cereals, muffins, pastries, bagels, donuts, make-it-yourself waffles, coffee, juices, milk, etc. Rooms have microwave, mini-fridge, coffeemaker, iron/ironing board, satellite TV. It's clean, has free wireless internet access, owner is always there an takes care of customers himself. Pool is good to chill and tan. Enjoy every morning of continental breakfast. Its cheap, is on a great location and has it all. For sure I'll be back. more
