This was one of the best motels we stayed at on our 2-week trip. The proprieters run a tight ship and the place is lovely. Grounds are well kept, the ice, vending & laundry are conveniently located in a locked room (your room key opens the door) and everything is CLEAN! The room was perfect and the complementary breakfast was... More

Traveling cross country......had good reviews....stayed for one night. Good rooms, hot showers, good towels. Nothing to complain about......pretty thin breakfast, but OK. I would recommend. Sushi place within walking distance. good food.

it seems many people who review hotels etc here do it without regard to the price they paid. that hardly seems fair to me. this was about the lowest price hotel we could fine for the night. and for the price it was perfectly fine. the rooms were clean and comfortable. the breakfast was filling enough to last till lunch.... I went to Lawrence for my high school reunion so I know the territory. I had not stayed in the Econo Lodge before but the location is good...not too far from downtown or food stores, restaurants. The greeting was very cordial. It was extremely hot in Lawrence for Labor Day weekend, over 100 degrees, ah, fond memories of Lawrence in... More

The rooms were clean, but small. There was a nice outdoor pool and the motel was close to many places to eat. The breakfast room was small but the breakfast was adequate. The staff were pleasant. The room had a refrigerator and microwave.

Friendly staff Rooms not updated which i did read but when we got here the price was much higher. I have stayed in cleaner rooms. I caught someone peeking in our window when i was unloading our vehicle. They did allow pets and had a nice little area to walk your pets. I did not use the pool area but... More

We've stayed here before and true to their word hotel owners did have new TVs installed which helped pass some extra time. Not had any safety issues, staff is always friendly & personable. Gave us a great rate because we had student activities at the University. Families with young children to retirees have been at the hotel when we've stayed.... More

although this is not a new hotel, it is a wonderful place to stay for the price. the rooms are quiet, the staff is wonderful, location is convenient, breakfast is good. if you are looking for brand new, not the place, but if you are looking for a place to stay that is clean, nice, and price is right -... Breakfast was good, everything was clean, the pool was good, even pool towels in each room. But the bed was a little to hard. Good value, easy to find, great applebees just down the street. You can feel safe staying here.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel during our visit to Kansas. It is true as per other reviews, this is not one of your high ends hotels, but overall this was a clean comfortable place to stay. The staff was very helpful and accomodating. I requested a nonsmoking room. However, upon entering the first rooms, there was the... More
