I am a single male married to my work, I spent 3 nights at this hotel as a getaway/chance to decompress. I stayed in the Mayan Rain Forest one night and the Serengeti suite the next two. I stayed during the midweek and it was not busy at all, very quiet and tranquil. Would definitely recommend trying to stay outside... More

So, my wife and I wanted to get away, but we didn't want to have to travel too far. The Chateau Avalon looked different, and it was about an hour drive, so we decided to stay in the Egyptian room. It was cute, had a great jetted tub, but it could have been a bit nicer, I guess. We will... More

My wife and I are "warmed over biscuits" and have visited this hotel three times. They have different motifs including the Jesse James room, the Egyptian room and the pirate room. Would highly recommend this establishment. Enjoyed the breakfast in thew morning. For dinner there are a number of good restaurants nearby.

I booked an overnight stay and massage for my wife and her sister in concert with a planned shopping trip. It was a suprise to say thank you, and the first night away from our children in quite some time. After a fun afternoon of shopping at the nearby Legends shopping center, they checked in. The first impression was not... More

If you are considering staying here, DON'T DO IT! Just bypass all the good reviews and mediocre reviews, and believe all the negative ones. The minute we walked in the building, I knew it was going to be bad. It had a stinky, dirty smell to greet us. The place looked like it could use a good coat of new... More

My husband and I stayed for a night March 18th. When we checked in we were greeted pleasantly and check in was quick. We booked the Castaway suite. The room was cute and very dimly lit. The whirlpool tub was fantastic, but the room filthy. There were cobwebs all up the wall between the ship and wall as well as... More

When was the last time you took a break from your life? Well, my most recent experience showed me how easy it is to get away from the aggravation life offers. My new bride and I decided to add a little luxury in our life and Chateau Avalon delivered. First, I must confess, if you are on a tight budget,... More

Don't get me wrong, this is an extremely unique hotel. My husband and I came here just for fun to see what it was like and I'm glad we did. Pros: Really cool themed rooms. We stayed in the Castaway Isle, which has a shipwreck in your room. The view out the windows is nice and the grounds are really... More

I loved our hotel stay. We stayed in a beautiful luxurious room that was themed like a castle. It was so romantic. The staff wasn't the best. The hotel room was great. It is very close to Legends shopping. Great restaurants close. There is no restaurant on the property. We added couples massage and it was super relaxing.

I am very upset with this place. Especially since we spent almost $400 for 1 night. Right when we got there, there were 2 receptionists, and as we waited for the young man at the front desk to finish a call he received, he walked away from us as the call was over. Not a word from him, he could... More

I am very sorry that you were unhappy with your experience at check in. We do offer 2 Front Desk stations to expedite the check in process during weekends to avoid long waits. I apologize if the clerk was not gracious and welcoming. I am the Front Desk Manager and would love the opportunity to personally speak to you about... More
