We recently decided to go to here just for a short trip with the kids. The waterpark was great and not over crowded since the only people that could go were guest of the hotel, kids also loved the arcade, But you would think that for 269.00 a night there would be at least breakfast included. No free breakfast and... more

We stayed at the Wolf Lodge for 3 nights on a recent trip to Kansas City. The kids LOVED it. The room decor was very kid friendly and there was a ton for them to do. My 7 year old spent hours each day trying to slay the dragon in the magi quest and we couldn't drag our 3 year... more

I was a little apprehensive about this lodge after reading some of the reviews. We have visited a similiar hotel with an indoor waterpark and the rooms were very plain so we did not expect much more from Great Wolf Lodge, however, this was a complete resort with everything you need either within the lodge or very close. I loved... more

We live in the area and decided to treat the kids to an overnight at GWL. After reading some of the reviews we were hesitant, but the kids really wanted to go, so off we went. Our stay definitely exceeded our expectations! We got a Kid's Camp room on the first floor, and it was perfectly clean, and we loved... more

The kids both loved the water park but when they saw the room it was a disappointment for them. The room is over priced for a marginally comfortable bed and smaller TV than other places. I would pass on this hotel in a minute if there was any other way to swim at the water park. The front desk staff... more

Sorry to hear that this trip did not exceed your expectations. From the sound of it, you must have stayed in one of our Queen suites. These are always good for 2 or 3 people, but from a spacing perspective, it sounds like you would have been better off booking one of our Wolf Den or KidKamp suites. Both of...

We stayed at Great Wolf Lodge in KC with our twin 5-year old boys. The boys LOVED the waterpark. It is a fun indoor place to play - not too big but big enough. I thought it was pretty crowded, but my family didn't seem to mind. Our hotel room was a Wolf's Den, which the boys again loved. Their... more

Thanks for sharing your recent experience at Great Wolf Lodge-Kansas City, KS. The Wolf Den is one of my favorite rooms for kids . I am glad to hear the kids enjoyed it. When you return next time, don't forget to take along your MagiQuest wands - it stores all of their previous points so the kids will be able...

We have two young boys ages 3 and 5. We spent one night in a Wolf Den room and had a great time. The boys loved having their own little area with their own TV. My son started crying at bedtime at home the next night because he missed his "cabin." Our room was in fairly decent shape, the sinks... more

For $70 a night this would have been a good hotel room. The price was over $200 with taxes for the cheapest room they had (two double beds). The room was beat up. Scuff marks on wall, wallpaper coming off of wall. There was no caulking between tub and tile in shower which resulted in mold along the base of... more

We stayed at Great Wolf Lodge one day during our Easter trip to Kansas City and had a great time. We were able to check in around 1:00 p.m. and were informed that there were 10 Easter eggs hidden in our room. It was fun for the kids to look for. We had the "Wolf's Den" room. The bunkbeds/cave area... more

I am a 40 something childless hotel snob, so I really thought when I went with my brother's family, our kid sister, and our parents to GWL in Kansas, that I would hate it. I read the reviews on Tripadvisor and it sounded like it wasn't for me. Sure enough, when we walked into the lobby, there were two teens... more
