I was away from home for a month but it felt like home.Great friendly staff will help you in everyway thy can.Got my wakeup call in the mornings,breakfast was ready.what else you need .Rooms are large and very clean.After work came back to a nice clean room.Will be back in summer for another job.Looking forward to that. more

Not a whole lot to pick from in Independence, KS but this is the bottom of the barrel. The staff seemed to be upset that someone was even staying there. Everything worked: wifi, tv, microwave/fridge in room. Reasonably clean, though the less obvious places, like the window sill, hadn't been dusted in ages. Terrible bed. Bad towels; no hand towels at all. Sparse decorations. Better public areas than the Microtel across the street, but worse rooms. It's OK for a night, but set your expectations low. more

The weekend was a last minute booking for pleasure and as Independence doesn't have much to offer in the way of hotel space, we didn't have much luck in finding anything better available. I spent two months in Independence, Kansas and stayed at the Super 8. It was very clean and the people were excellent. Should I be needed there again would certianly choose this motel. more
