I visited Hugoton with a large group who had booked Shady Lane during our stay in Hugoton, in conjunction with Sandwell's Outdoors. Neal is a gracious host and everything was clean and comfortable, with GOOD mattresses! more
VERY NICE owner! We were traveling through and called up about an hour before arrival and there's only 4 rooms available and we booked the last. We went in, and he gave us a key and we went to our room and it was JUST like visiting a friends home!! We didn't even pay for the room until the next day, and he asked if the charge amount was "OK"... OK?? It was the CHEAPEST place we stayed and one of our FAVS!!!
The room was VERY roomy (me, my husband, our 20 yr and 12 yr old daughter had a great time), and he has a pool, deck, and lots of places to sit and watch the rabbits play out in the nice evening and morning time!!
The breakfast was continental, but the owner is SO pleasant and we would without qestion fo back.
If you're on the road all day driving, looking for a comfy place to rest just as if your were visiting old friends... THIS is it!
