Fridge and microwave in room, average breakfast. Room was clean and front desk was very friendly. Nothing special to report good or bad. Typical affordable hotel popular with blue collar workers. One side note about the location: Garden City, KS is NASTY! A barren land overrun with cow killers. The stench of confined feed lots and slaughterhouses permeates the area.

We stayed here for one night as we finished our road trip of the Midwest, not the best we had encountered on our trip, no coffee facilities ,pool closed and the seat outside our room encrusted in dirt ,however the room was clean , the plumbing good and the premises were quiet at night .I got the feeling the management... We arrived late to find fresh cookies, and a very clean room. Pet friendly which is a must for us we travel with a small family member. The beds were a little uncomfortable, but nothing that wuld keep me from staying there again. room rates were good, and the desk service was great. Thank you for a nice stay at... More

Don't be fooled by the Trip Advisor reviews on their website. They must pull only the best, and I guarantee they weren't staying in the rooms we were. I booked 11 rooms for a bus tour of high school media students and chaperones. We were on our way back from touring Colorado. This was our last stop. We were tired... More

I recently stayed in ABVI in Garden City. First thing, flies and the room door didn't seal. Secondly, no light bulb in the lamp. Third, the shower knob did not have hot/cold on it and took awhile to find warm. Toilet barely flushed. Continental breakfast, old/hard bisquits and so-so gravy, and that was the good part. Thin walls, so heard... More

The room smelled like smoke and pee. Our door lock got ripped off the door frame, surrounded by barbed wire, evidence of many previous break-ins, lights and Tv's barely worked. The hotel was terribly unmaintained! Breakfast was decent.

Our crew again returned to the hotel for another project in the same area and again the owners and staff can't do enough to help you make your stay an enjoyable one. Being responsible for the health and safety of a crew, it was great working with the hotel's management and staff as they again made plenty of changes to... More

The owners and hotel staff were some of the nicest people I have met. They really go out of there way to make sure your stay in enjoyable. The rooms were updated and very clean. The hotel is located near some restaurants and stores. It is hard to find when you are driving as it is not right off the... More

Friendliest front desk in town, as claimed?. Not really; everything was just average, and the pool was shut down, so not the best situation with the higher rates and Kansas' high-side hotel tax. I did appreciate the fridge and microwave however. Some places like restaurants and Wal-Mart were walkable, but set way back off the road, with deep fencing, tough... More
