Creepy, outdated, just mildly Bates-like, no air conditioning, other than that... our stay was perfect. I walked into the room and immediately thought of a Tarantino movie and imagined gratuitous violence occurring in the room, really. After falling asleep which took forever due to no air in the room, I awoke around 3am to find the door standing open with... More

Rooms clean but you are not guaranteed a parking space even if paid in advance. Checked in, unfortunately, had to make a run to the Emergency Room. Cold and rainy, no parking space available when we returned. Talked to desk clerk who said they did not have a parking policy, nothing she could do, we'd just have to find an... More

Well folks it ain't The Ritz! Ha! But, you are a stones throw from a good breakfast spot, and if you are hunting or going to field trial it's a good place to stay. At only $49 I gave it three stars because it even had a fridge and my room was clean. Old, but clean.

Clean and comfortable rooms. This is an older motel that is pretty well maintained. There's an outdoor pool. My only complaint is the wi fi is horrible, it is very slow and drops in and out. Overall a good place, I will stay here again.

I travel extensively for my job and pay for my own lodging so I like the inexpensive motels. Sometimes they are scary, dirty and unsafe. This one was not. The Blue Stem Lodge was wonderful. It was clean, safe, and comfortable. The owners are friendly, and take a lot of pride in keeping up the motel. Their pride of ownership... More

This is an older strip type motel in a small town. That being said, it is well cared for and the proprietors could not possible be more helpful. I arrived on a hot day by bicycle and was offered a cold beer at check-in. How can hospitality get any better than that? It has a pool although I did not... More

This place looks nice and has been remodeled. What has not been redone is the sewer system. I have stayed here my last four times in Eureka and I am sorry to say the toilet has backed up and overflowed every time. We have complained and the owners just give you a plunger. I will find other places to stay... More

I travel a lot for work. This was my first time in Kansas. Since July I have stayed in motel/hotels in Idaho, Colorado, Montana, Iowa, South Dakota, Wyoming and Nebraska. I've stayed in everything from overprice Holiday Inns to el cheapos. This place is my hands down favorite. It is clean comfortable and well maintained. It is older, but that... More

This is an older motel on the highway. It has been updated with flat screen, refrig, coffee and is quite clean and seems well maintained. Management is very friendly and eager to please. I would like to spend a little more time in Eureka, and it is great knowing that this motel more than suits our needs and is very... More
