My 8 year old son and I shared the twin/family room. He had a little room off the twin with a cabin-style bed. He loved having that space to himself and he loved the dogs! The farm is a lovely old building and ideal for our visits to Avebury and Stonehenge. The owners were really friendly and made a real... More

I received the warmest of welcomes on my (very early) arrival, with both Margo and Dick greeting me at the door - much appreciated after a long journey. The house was absolutely beautiful - as was my room. It was very comfortable indeed and very well equipped with everything you my need. The atmosphere was a very welcoming, warm and... More

I felt totally welcomed into Margo & Dick's home, and utterly at ease. The room had lovely old wooden celing beams and plenty of space (plus en suite with great shower!) and it was an absolute pleasure to be there. On the second night, I sampled Margo's cooking, which was excellent and comes highly recommended. Also, though I'm not particularly... More

A great little B&B off the beaten track. Our hosts were gracious and friendly. Margo cooks the best full English this side of London! E stayed for 2 nights and would definitely return if we were in he area. Short drive to Bath and surrounding area. Highly recommended.

We spent a night here on our way back from the west country. Ideal hosts booked our evening meal for us having provided tea and cake on arrival. The house is amazing, thatch and beamed with a fascinating interior. The owners were very friendly as were the two dogs. The view from our window was of the garden with squirrels... More

Margo was a great host and nothing was to much trouble. The setting is great and the rooms and breakfast were excellent. I was treated like I was in a five star hotel. A nice quiet country B&B. Ideally set for a quiet weekend or the cycling around the lovely countryside <i.e. white horse trail ,etc.>

Thank you so much to Dick and Margot for making our stay so comfortable. We were doing the London to Bristol cycle ride and arrived late and tired but they were absolutely fine about it. Lovely room with some nice touches, like fresh flowers and fresh milk and as part of the breakfast Margot had prepared some home-made blackberry and... More

I stayed at the farmhouse on my way to Bristol via the Avon & Kennet canal on my bike. Dick & Margot made me feel at home. Margot put herself out providing a 3 course evening meal for me which was lovely and mainly home made. Dick put me on the right track for the canal in the morning after... More

Had an excellent overnight stay at Huntleys Farmhouse whilst cycling from Bristol to Reading on the Kennet & Avon Canal. Well positioned midway on the route in pleasant country nlocation with good pubs nearby. Very friendly and helpful hosts, comfortable rooms in a lovely Thatched Cottage with pretty garden, good breakfast. Greatly recommended.

This B&B is a must for anyone looking for a place to stay around the Pewsey area. It is set in some amazing countryside and doesn't disappoint on any level. Before arriving the communication from Margot and Dick was great and once there Dick was really helpful in terms of providing us with a map and offering us some local... More
