A year or so ago we had the opportunity to stay at an Emporia Holiday Inn (same hotel, different owners) and really enjoyed the location and the stay. This year when the opportunity came up we decided we wanted to stay at the same place. I was surprised that the Holiday Inn had sold the property and built a new... More

I would give this hotel 10 stars if it was possible. We had a reservation at another hotel in Emporia that was run down and dispicable. I packed my children and came here only to find I had left my identification at home 3 hours away by this time it was 3 am. So he took my information out of... More

We stayed here a few years ago when it was a Holiday Inn The new owners have really done a nice job. Clean and well maintained Limited breakfast but I imagine that could change as their business grows. Very affordable. We stayed here 2 different times last week going to and coming from Iowa. We will be back!

I went with this place because of the reviews and was very pleased. The lobby smelled freshly cleaned and the carpet in our room had recently been shampooed. Very friendly desk clerk. There were some noisy guests but not overly so and I can't blame the staff for them. They can only do so much. The room was very spacious... More

We tried two other hotels and decided to try this one despite the plain sign out front. We saved $20-$60 on our hotel room compared to the other two. Super comfy beds, nice pillows, very clean, fridge, microwave, and big TV,and nice and dark for sleeping. Towels were a little on the thin side, but no real complaints. Name brand... More

Daughter, her friend & I were coming to ESU for Saturday a.m. Weather looked questionable, so I decided that we would stay Friday night. So glad we stayed here! The place is nice & clean, choice of soft and firm pillows in the room. Amenities in the room were not the normal cheap stuff you normally find. The continental breakfast... More

Clean. Very nice desk clerks. Walking distance to several restaurants. Nice pool. Typical, less-than-average-tasting breakfast. Very disappointed the web site said one price and the hotel wanted to charge us more than $20 more and finally compromised on $10 more.

this place was not as awful as some of the reviews. It has just been bought by another hotel chain . I forget which one. The room was clean and very inexpensive. The breakfast was poor unless you just wanted pastries . The scrambled eggs were really bad.

This Holiday Inn Express us the worst one I have stayed in. I am a Platinum club member. So, I travel quite a bit. The lobby was dirty. This should have been my first clue as to the room condition. They cleaned it up some. I should have moved straight away, but didn't. I won't make the same mistake again.

This us not a good place to stay. We booked the hotel while driving through Missouri. It was quite late when we pulled in or we might have just looked for something else. It was fully booked. The trash cans just outside the door as you entered were full and running over. I had to wait quite some time for... More
