Enid cooked up a great breakfast for us both mornings we were there. Cozy home near Old Dodge City. Historic Dodge all within walking distance. A tour guide spoke with us the first morning we were there during breakfast, and told us about the town's history. He also gave us a free tour later that day. We came away after... More

This is a very nice B&B and for the price beat any standard chain hotel we have ever stayed at. The rooms have been updated with modern amenities and are very comfortable, yet have retained the charm of years ago. The proprietors were accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was one of the most substantial and delicious (homemade pastries----yummm!) we have... More

Enid is everything you'd expect if you were touring the UK! Kurt is a fount of knowledge. From the furnishings and decor to a very delicious breakfast it is the epitome of a B&B in the "old country". The breakfast was more traditionally American, which most US travellers would appreciate. It is also really handy to the Boot Hill Museum.

Thank you for writing a review. Enid and Kurt, plus Eugenie, work very hard to keep the house in great condition. Please come back soon. More

My wife and I were called back to Kansas the first week of October to help with the preparations of the 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration of her eldest Uncle and his wife. "Coming home" to Dodge City is always a welcome getaway, especially if we can stay at the Boot Hill Bed and Breakfast. Located close to Wyatt Earp Boulevard... More

Lovely hostess and beautiful home just around the corner from the historic Main Street of Dodge City, KS. We were delighted with a colorful narrative at breakfast by a "sheriff" of olden days, and the breakfast room is very sunny and cheerful.

We stayed in the 'Matt Dillon' room for 2 nights. Loved it! Kurt & Enid are interesting, warm, friendly hosts. A charming couple! The breakfasts are very good with delicious fresh fruits and juice, *exquisite pastries* and perfect coffee which is always a plus! Mr. Charlie makes it entertaining and informative through his recounting of local history and lore. (Have... More

We had the great fortune of finding this gem of the west here on TripAdvisor. Kurt & Enid are fantastic hosts. Our room was tastefully appointed, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and the huge bonus was Charlie Meade, location Dodge City historian, sharing the history and stories of old Dodge City. We will return to the Boot Hill... More

Thanks for your review. I do believe, however, that you stayed in the Doc Holliday Hideaway room, as it is the only room without a bathroom door. It is the room in the attic, and has a queen size and a single bed in the room. We try very hard to make guests feel at home, so we are pleased... More

This is a nice B&B really close to the attraction of Dodge City. We were passing through on our way to Colorado so me and the family stayed for one night. (editors note: Yes, I know you should not stay at a B&B with kids, but Kurt who runs the B&B said we could bring our kids.) We stayed in... More

Great location: just steps away from the historic downtown Dodge City. Great rates: very reasonably priced and it includes a full breakfast. Great breakfast: delicious eggs, bacon, potatoes; homemade pastries; fruit; and good coffee. Great hosts: welcoming and friendly but give you plenty of space. Bonus: a local historian comes by every morning during breakfast and talks about Dodge City... More

The quaint Victorian is nice enough and the somewhat fussy decorations suit the house. It isn't quiet -- from the Wyatt Earp room at the top of the stairs, I could hear everything said at the desk at the bottom of the stairs. Fortunately, the talking didn't go late into the night. The room itself was charming and the bed... More
