We found this place while passing through Kansas. The clerk was indeed nice and helpful. They did not provide breakfast and she directed us to "The Hospital - they have the best breakfast in town" The hospital was not open. We got a snack at a gas station as we hurried out of town. WiFi was available, but too weak... More

Room smelled like a dirty ashtray....literally! Complained and was told it was not the hotels problem & I needed to live with it or go somewhere else. So I did. Unbelievable poor customer service and one of the worst rooms I've ever stayed in. The staff tried to say the room had been cleaned before our arrival... We had to... More

I was traveling from Mississippi and called and made reservations a week in advance. I was told that there would be a room available upon my arrival. The manager called me the day before my arrival and said they would be doing maintenance in room that I was to check into upon arrival. After traveling 10 hours and making it... More

We stayed here for my sister's wedding. Check-in was rough, but apparently it was the woman's first day. What kind of manager would leave someone alone on their first day when sold out? A bad one, and check-in time varied from 5-25 minutes in our group. They had cigarette butt receptacles at the front door, but signs everywhere not to... More

Reading the other reviews - I thought I hope I don't meet carol. Guess I did not, as the hotel was perfect for what I needed as I travelled through Burlington. Nice grocery store next door and a Dairy Queen next to that. Will stay here again. If you are looking for a local diner, try "Across the Border" downtown.

I stayed for two nights recently. The room was clean. The television was nice, but not many channels. Sink drain was slow, but the shower was great. Coffee only in the morning. A grocery store is across the street. The bed was kind of a squeeky rock, but I was tired.

My husband works for Nuc. Outages. We are staying here looking for long-term stay. Although the hotel is wonderful we may have to leave due to no cooking in the rooms besides the microwave. With us needing at least a month to two month stay while my husband works it is needed for us to be able to cook dinners... More

Have been traveling for a long time , and my experience was not pleasant . The manager in this motel / hotel needs training in how to deal with customers . The other clerks were excellent , and besides the place being overpriced it wasn't that bad . The big problem was the manager , she likes to get in... More

We stayed at this lovely hotel for 2 nights to attend a nephew's wedding. The hotel was very clean, the room was HUGE, the bathtub and shower worked very well, there was a coffee maker, a microwave, a fridge, wifi, the staff was very helpful, the bed was comfortable, the air conditioner worked very good. I did not have any... More

Don't recommend this hotel to anyone. The manager Carol is very rude, disrespectful, and treats the guest as if they are a pain to her. She lies about things, runs down other guests, lies about the other motel in town which is the Wolf Creek Lodge. She is unwilling to work with her guests and the owners can't seem to... More

I am sorry that you feel this way. We went above and beyond for your guests. We put refreshments and water in your guests rooms, and even served them a breakfast. I am never rude to my staff or to the guests. I have a great staff, and they do an excellent job. I do not talk bad about the other... More
