Stay above a bank that Jesse James robbed in rooms that were law offices back in the 1870s. Amy is a charming hostess and the food in Cafe on the Route is excellent. Check out her new restaurant LL Sayers in Joplin, MO - its so good too

We chose this inn because of its Route 66 location, its connection with the Café on the Route (right below, and featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives), and the intriguing price – well below $100! We played email and telephone tag to make a reservation; there is no online reservation system. We reserved a queen room and arrived in time... More

Nice B&B located on Route 66. Rooms are above the Cafe on the Route, check in is at the cafe. rooms are clean and comfortable. had a parlor room and believe the price is fair considering it included breakfast for 2, consisting of eggs, ham, fruit, pancakes and juice. Will stay here again next time I travel this section of... More

I stayed here the one night--and nearly froze to death. The air conditioner was on full blast all night, blowing cold air directly down on the bed. No one ever checked to see if everything was ok, and the next morning I got a "thank you, have a nice day", and that was it. I personally think they were afraid... More

What can I say about the Little Brick Inn?? It's housed in an old historic building, that was once a bank that Jesse James robbed in the 1870's. That's reason enough to stay here! But the rooms are spacious, and the hotel occupies the whole second floor of the building - with a kitchen and large living room, that made... More

My husband and I recently completed a road trip which basically followed Route 66 west to Winslow, AZ. (Go ahead, you know you want to sing it.) Our first night's stay was at the Little Brick Inn, which is on the second floor of the old building that also houses Cafe on the Route. Both the restaurant and the inn... More

We had an exceptional experience at the Little Brick Inn. Calling the very evening we hoped to stay there while on a Route 66 trip to book a room, after successfully ensuring we had a bed that night at the Inn, we asked if there were any good restaurants in town where we could grab dinner. Owner Richard told us... More
