Recently stayed one night at this hotel. The decor was old style and needed redecorating. We got a quiet suite on the 8th floor and was given a great rate. Nothing special about this hotel, but the room was clean and comfortable. On the weekend we were there, weddings made the lobby area a noisy place. more

Arrived to learn that they overbooked and that my room for 4 people had 1 king bed. They made no attempt to remedy this. The twin bed rolled into the room made it an extremely tight fit, more than a few stubbed toes. Room would have been fine for 1 or 2 adults. Bed was good, nice tv, clean bathroom.... more

Just across the highway from the new Jordan Creek Mall, this hotel has all the amenities you expect, and more! We stayed at this hotel on the way to a wedding. The hotel is beautiful. The next morning the staff was busy so I came back a few minutes later. They remembered me and apologized for not being available immediately. The room was large, comfortable and quiet. I would highly recommend this hotel. more

I was definitely impressed with the West Des Moines Marriott. It’s a relatively modern property with clean and orderly public areas. As you approach the building, it’s large, elegant and definitely says “Marriott”. It is somewhat of a beacon off the busy intersection of I-80 and I-235 in western suburb of Des Moines, Iowa called West Des Moines (Creative, no?).... more
