Well, let me first say, the facility isn't what it once was, whatever it was. That being said, it was an adequate hotel for one night. I used a coupon from one of the Iowa hotel books and received the room at a fair price, and pretty much got what I paid for. Nothing frill or fancy, just a great... More

Well, this was not what I had hoped for. It's a bit run-down, the place looks like it's seen better times for sure. The room was very dated, the linens and bedding were not in good shape at all. I am glad my wife wasn't with me because she would have not slept here.

They only gave three lumpy pillows a bed (king) and when I asked for more, they had none. Dirty floors, not even a bed cover, black mold in bathroom, the bathroom ceiling leaked on us, the night deal either was sarcastic, yelling all night, not worth it. Just spend the extra money for a nice place

This hotel was a desperation stop. We were tired and didn't know where the next hotel would be (2 exits up the road!) The room was dirty, the chairs stained, the sheets ripped. The fans were so noisy, they could not be used, including the one in the bathroom. Even for $72 a night it was overpriced. I have no... More

Desk clerk was nice enough. Place was overpriced at $60, but it was a place to stay right off the freeway. Didn't take my shoes off, carpet was nasty. Burn holes in rug, mattress and covers. Bathroom was just barely OK. If you are in need and have NO OTHER OPTIONS. I was a little sketchy as a solo traveler.... More

$60 a night with taxes is pricey for an economy room, but it was located off the highway and it was close, but not in busy Des Moines. However, if you don't like paper thin walls (and ceilings), a bathroom the size of an average closet, and beds that feel like tables,I wouldn't advise staying at this motel. If you... More

We checked in as we were searching for a pet friendly hotel. Not only was the room filthy, but we found bugs in the bed- looks like a bed bug issue! Not only would we not stay in this filthy room, but we wouldn't even let our dogs stay - we left. The desk clerk was clueless and less then... More

Not a bad place to stay for under $50. They are undergoing renovations currently and our room had all of the plumbing redone with all brand new tiles and fixtures. The bathroom worked very well except that the shower head is mounted at about 5 ft which is tough for a 6'2 person. The rest of renovations are in progress.... More

This place needs some serious repair. The headboard was falling off the wall. The faucet to the shower came out of the wall when turned on and the caulking was not there or moldy. The carpet was stained (like dog pee). The door stuck to the floor when you tried to open it.
