This was my 2nd stay at this location and I have nothing but positive things to report. I got exactly what I asked for which says something in itself. My only constructive criticisms are that the rate seemed high, but I know the Iowa State Fair is going on. I could of paid more if I stayed in Des Moines,... More

Attractive, classic style. Not for those who want ultra modern. Good sized rooms, good beds, wifi, excellent service, hot tub, warm pool. Near living farms historical area, near Jordan Creek shopping area.

My family of 5 stayed one night here during a long road trip. We booked the "suite" for substantial rate which turned out to be a biggish room with a tiny bathroom but large shower. Unfortunately the bathroom opened right into the rest of the room making privacy a challenge. The staff was nice but overwhelmed as there was only... More

The Sleep Inn is on the same property as the Comfort at the Village farm attraction. The rate was $50 cheaper, that may help someone who is visiting as a destination. Factor in the room was a little dated. The tile in the bathroom was missing grout on the floor. The shower door would not stay closed (reason for the... More

My overall impression of this hotel was positive but the one negative set a negative tone for my stay. I arrived and check in was handled smoothly and quickly before being directed to my room (105). I pulled around to the closest door and headed for my room after a long day on the road and knowing I still had... More

We stayed on our way home from a week long vacation up North. The room was nice, no microwave or fridge which we did not need this stay. Breakfast was the standard waffles, eggs, etc. Nice large walk in shower in the room we chose.

We stayed here on a recent mini-vacation for the family. Our experience was mixed, with some things that were really nice and some that were not. The property itself is nice and pleasant. Was quiet the first night... The second not so much as there was an invasion of pre-teen boys for a tournament of some kind. But that's kind... More

Most of the time when we walked through the lobby nobody was at the desk. When we did see front desk people, only a few would say hello to us (Or even smile). Breakfast ladies seemed very unfriendly and didn't offer us much in variety of food. Sausage patties and sausage links every day for the 5 days we were... More

A really nice hotel for a getaway, and not the "usual" experience. The hotel itself really looks like an inn in Amish country. The staff is all nice and helpful. The pool is nice and well-maintained. Breakfast is loaded with carbs, but has a nice variety. On the ground floor, people walking in the room above was very loud, but... More

We stayed here during state track. It was quiet. There was some mildew on the shower door.. I was disappointed that their was no fridge in the room. Pillows were not comfortable. I thought for the quality it was a little spendy. Right next to The Machine Shed, great eats. Close to interstate. Nice pool and outside sitting area. Breakfast... More
