The Manager, Jay Evans, greeted us at noon. Within fifteen minutes our room was ready. That really was extra special service. All in all everything was more than we expecteds. Even the Bridge Tournament at the closeby Convention Center went well. We'll definitely be back. more
We booked at the Ramada since the AmericInn was full for a wedding and were pleasantly surprised. From what I understand they had a complete overhaul done in 2007. We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and although we gave this hotel a 4 star, it is not a 4 star luxury hotel as it is a Ramada. We could have easily given this hotel a 5 star out of customer service and cleanliness alone. This was our first trip to the Spirit Lake / Okoboji area and... more
We had asked about the pool and were not informed of the maint. that it was undergoing. They did tell us that we had to travel in order to use a pool. My kids are young. I have stayed at the Ramada in Davenport, IA before and I loved it. This was a very disappointting experience. more
