Hotel Capone is a DELIGHTFUL experience! We, two couples, rented their two best of seven rooms and fell in love with the whole hotel and staff. Three young men and a their staff are still "working out details", as they comment. As far as we are concerned, our accommodations could not have been better. Their private bed and bath rooms,... This place is fantastic. It is hospitable and feels like home. The rooms are cozy, the breakfast is great, the building beautiful, and the bar has a great feel. We had a really positive experience and we're just in town for a wedding. Try it out and enjoy.

They opened the bar today, very nice bar area, interesting history from the prohibition era. They will be opening the resturant soon, should be a wonderful place to eat, drink and enjoy friends. The bar area has 2 tunnels that they used in the past to transport bootleg booze to other places.

I loved the energy as soon as you walk into the hotel, we were welcomed by the same person who made our reservation. It was lovely being able to put a name to the face, something you hardly ever get at a horse. The building is an older beautiful unique one. The rooms are a good size, extremely clean, and... More

Very interesting, clean, quiet hotel with lovely spacious rooms. Close to biking and canoeing as well as 10 minutes from all Decorah has to offer. We were there before restaurant and bar opening, but would love to come back to see that. Great value! If coming to this area, check out this hotel!

Just a wonderful place to stay. I rented 4 rooms in summer of 2011. All 4 were charmingly decorated with all the amenities that you could want, yet the rooms maintaioned the old world historic charm of the Inn. Speaking of historic, the basement of the Inn boasts a tunnel that was used for bootlegging --the tunnel and basement have... More

If you want to be treated like royalty and excape the hustle of everyday life head to Spillville! We have stayed twice and loved every aspect of this wonderful place. The host, Rachael, could not be kinder or more accomidating! The room was a romantic get away and that my wife and I truly enjoyed! The meal we had was... More

We stayed overnight on Christmas Eve, and the owners made us feel at home. Our room was excellent and included a gas fireplace. The basement lounge with the "caves" is very unique. Spillville is a small town in a beautiful surrounding. This is the perfect place to get away from it all.
