Wow, pretty much a dive with the Clarion name. We had a patient at the nearby hospital so chose this hotel. Big mistake! Place smelled musty and looked very worn, musty and dated from the time you walked in. The bar actually didn't take credit card--luckily, had enough cash to pay. Seriously??? In this day and age?? Carpet in the... More

When I called to make the reservation no mention was made that they where on a shoestring budget and everything was minimum. Carpets were dirty, pool closed, no restaurant or bar, even staff was limited. We spent one night and then went to another hotel.

We are sorry you were disappointed in the limited services available at this time. The hotel is for sale and certain amenities are temporarily on hold. Our current amenities include complimentary breakfast, wifi, local calls, cable television, secure parking in our attached parking ramp, and a 24 hour Business Center and Fitness Center. Our convenient location on Historic 4th Street... More

Hotel is in desperate need of renovation. You can tell that they are struggling just to stay open right now. The only ice machine is on the 5th floor and is out of order. No signs indicating that it is out of order. Had to go to the front desk to get it. SHAUNA was very helpful and professional. She... More

This hotel has a lot of character and you can tell it was beautiful in it's earlier days, but seriously needs upgraded. The rooms are old and dingy. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, I've slept on floors with more padding. The blankets were almost crunchy they were so old. It was decently cleaned, no real issues there except that the... We were in town for a wedding and stayed 3 nights. Our trip started by being picked up from hotel staff in a cargo van in which we had to load our own luggage and the inside was very dirty. Once we arrived to the hotel there was only 1 working elevator which was also filthy (dirt, dents, and severely... More

The hotel was a good value for what we paid. Ask for the hospital rate if you are visiting someone in the hospital. There are some areas that need work, but it was fairly clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly, and I would stay here again.

Went back to my home town for a reunion. When We arrived to check in, We were greeted immediately. The check in process was very quick and efficient. It made me feel they appreciated our time and that they valued us. This hotel looks and feels just like it is... Very new. The rooms were very nice, and it was... More

This place is horrible. I have been staying here on and off for 6 months because of my employer puts us here and only cause of that. Front desk has some good service at times but recently I had to learn to speak Ebonics in order to check in. Rooms are dirty and the showers hardly work. Beds are out... More

This hotel has seen better days. It seems to need a major renovation, but the location downtown is fantastic for spending time at bars and/or restaurants. I just think the building needs a little TLC, and then it would be a go-to spot for visitors. Pool was under construction, as well as a couple of other areas throughout the hotel.... More

I did not have any high expectations for this place and I'm glad I didn't. Like many others said, it is in a desperate need of renovation. The room interiors give away the fact that it used to be (once upon a time) a Hilton. However, the furniture is showing its age and so is the carpet. In my room,... More
