We tried to book the Dutch House, but someone had beaten us to it, so we stayed in the Winery Quarters, which was very comfortable, the log fire at night heated the whole place up to make it very warm and cosy. We did a lot of walking so didn't need any rocking to get to sleep, but the beds... More

This was my first visit to the Lily and I loved it. Stunning views of the Stirling Ranges. Our cottage felt so homely and welcoming. It had everything you could possibly need. Beds were very comfortable. I highly recommend you head out at night and view the stars...amazing. See you next time.

Absolutely stunning views! We had 5 nights in the Winery Quarters. Hennie cooked all our dinners, which were delivered to our door by Pleun. All were delicious and catered for my allergy to dairy foods. We tried the Lily wines selection both red and white wines were very reasonably priced at less than AU$20 a bottle. The unit is compact.... More

The Mums-in Law were visiting their kids in Western AU in January 2014. The kids made a 2-night reservation at The Lily...what a beautiful facility!! When we got there, we were upgraded and our house had everything we needed!! It was the best and the owners were great!

Set in beautiful surroundings overlooking the Stirling Ranges, this is the perfect place to relax and enjoy long walks in the beautiful surroundings. All the houses on the premises look equally beautiful and special, although the operational, flower producing Dutch windmill stands out of course. We stayed at the Dutch house, which is the epitome of Dutch "gezelligheid" (cosyness) and... More

After a 10-day tour of WA, the Lily Dutch Windmill remains our favorite stop-over. Hennie and Pleun offer such abundant hospitality (homey history-laden accommodations; delicious delivered-to-your-kitchen-table dinners & breakfasts; discourses on DC-30’s, spelt flour, jazz saxophone) that one just wants to stay and stay and stay (or come back, except that we are from so far away). The Winery Quarters... More

Pros: We stayed in two storey Dutch House with double bed and twin beds on upper floor, kitchen, living, dining and another bedroom on ground floor. You will be amazed the moment you stepped in with all the little details they have decorated with great care. The house provides everything you need from cutlery, books to basic cooking ingredients. We wanted comfortable, self-contained accommodation for a holiday with a mix of hiking and relaxation. Fantastic location near Stirling Ranges with gorgeous views of the peaks on a beautiful and interesting property. We were in the winery quarters - well-appointed kitchen, spacious living space and bedroom. Full of quirky personal knick-knacks for a homely feel. Perfect for a couple or... More

Dear visitor, thank you for your overall positive comments and staying with us. We appreciate that some of our guest might have an issue with a pillow, after all pillows are often personal, that's why some of our guests bring their own. We provide 3 pillows for every guest in the hope some pillow will be acceptable. With regards to... More

Not only is this a most unusual experience but it is excellent in every way. Our two nights in the "Winery Quarters" were very comfortable - the rooms packed with interest form Hennie's special collections. A healthy breakfast basket is delivered to your room the night before and we do recommend the delicious meals delivered so that you can enjoy... More
