We love Okoboji and come 1-2 times every year and our experience staying at Americinn Lodge and Suites continues to be excellent. The employees are always helpful and rooms are clean. We love all the food choices nearby and shopping and of course the Lakes!! more

Staying at the AmericInn in Okoboji was a very nice experience. The rooms were clean and well kept, everything updated and in good condition. Location is right on the main road with many restaurants and gift shops close by. The continental breakfast was wonderful with a large variety including waffles, biscuits and gravy and cereal, just to name a few.... more

I have always had good luck with Americinns, but this one is exceptionally nice. It was clean and nicely decorated. They had lots of really comfy pillows on the bed. The pool area was nice. The continental breakfast was well-stocked, very good, and had a large assortment of choices. more

Rating of "excellent" for a hotel in Okoboji, Iowa?!? Normally, I would reserve that praise for big city 5-star places. But I can't think of a single negative thing about the AmericInn.
