As a very experienced traveler i can say hands down i have never enjoyed a stay at a paradise setting or any setting as much as i did at Ukulhas !! The owner Shifaz and staff were so professional warm and friendly thinking of every little detail and more so we would have the best time . One example was... More

From arrival on the public ferry boat, we were looked after by the attentive staff. The guesthouse has charming, clean and well appointed rooms, pleasant communal areas and an amazing beach just a couple minutes walk away. The island is quite small and nearly one half of its shore is lovely beach where it is ok for tourists to swim... More

Ukulhas Inn, is a wonderful and affordable place to stay in the Maldives. Shifaz (the owner) was great with all the information I needed prior to arriving, and arranging all transportation to Ukulhas. The Inn itself, is clean and cosy, and comfortable. I had room 101, I think perhaps the largest(?) which was lovely and like my own little apartment.... More

This is under the same management as the Coral Reef View Inn. Maldives is generally an expensive destination, so we took a chance on the economical Ukulhas Inn. Our island transfers were professionally managed and we were delighted to find a warm reception, a very clean room with a comfy double bed and everything that we could possibly need to... More

There is nothing bad I can think of saying about Ukulhas island or Ukulhas island inn. They provided me an unparalleled welcome , helping me with every step needed to reach the island. I would disagree with people who say the inn is "simple". I found the service and amenities to be similar of your usual Marriott or Conrad, with... More

If they only could kill all those damn mosquitos it would be paradise on earth:-) Well, honestly it was end of the rainy season in November hence those armies of annoying and any-repellent-resisting bzzzzzzzzzz'n'bite creatures... But you do have an option: hide yourself into the sea and thats in fact far the best thing you can do here! While snorkelling... More

I absolutely agree with the previous comment by joanna - this place is new, well run by very friendly people and highly recommendable as an alternative to resorts. The house reef offers very good snorkelling: we saw many turtles, a small shark, took us also to a manta ray safari when we saw 4 mantas. Hussain who takes care of... More

its was a great experience to explore the island, know the people and the culture, it was a pleasant stay in the guest house and at the same time working with the staff, as a foreigner working in the island i didn't feel that I'm separated, i feel home and the people were very hospitable and kind. The service that... More

I recently spent 2 nights at this hotel, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The room I stayed in was spacious and clean, and included free Wi-Fi, a toothbrush, toothpaste, a mini bar, DVD player, TV, adjustable air conditioning, a wardrobe, desk, a comfortable bed and more.. Upon arrival I was given a plate of fruit and a big glass of... More

If you are one of those who wish to enjoy the pristine beaches of Maldivies but dont want to shelve thousands on the resorts, Ukulhas Inn is a perfect hideout. Its a newly opened (Nov 2012) hotel.
