We were traveling across country with 3 dogs. Everything was good, except it was kind of noisy. The room was clean and the staff was excellent. So far this is the second hotel we've stayed at of our 4 days so far and it was our second best. Very, very pet friendly with a nice grassy side area for dogs.

For a holiday inn express, I was not impressed at all. Location was not very good. Couldn't find a place to park even remotely close to the hotel, Room wasn't very roomy, and the pool wasnt usable. Will not stay here again. Think I would have had better luck with a super 8 or something.

the manager was very helpful, on a very cold night to travel. my son was happy to have a comfortable location and to have a pool to swim before resting for the night. Clean with great express breakfast! We look forward to staying again on trips and to attend races

There were four of us, two adults and two boys, travelling to west Iowa. We got stuck on I80 and decided to stop overnight after getting on to US HWY 6. We made it to Newton and I was able to make the hotel reservation using the mobile app on my Android phone. We arrived around 6pm. The parking lot... More

this is a very typical Holiday Inn Express. Typical breakfast, room quality, staffing. It was especially affordable because I was able to use points to pay for it (and that was a deal, so keep that in mind), and it was a fine stay, but again, just not anything special about it otherwise. Don't let the the location concern you... More

Our stay here was very comfortable. The management was kind enough to give us a special bereavement rate as we were in town at attend a funeral for a family member. We appreciated their consideration. Our room was clean and met our expectations. The breakfast featured both hot and cold selections. It was well attended, kept clean and picked up.... More

I had a great room here, when I first came in the room I noticed I didn't have any bath towels. The person at the front desk immediately corrected the problem. I slept well, the breakfast was fine. The room was quiet, and I had good service. All good things! I was moving across the country and stayed here as... More

This was our second stay in Newton. This place was better than the Quality Inn which was horrible, but it was only a little better. The whole place was humid due to the pool, I guess. The carpet felt wet, not sure if it was from cleaning or just humidity. This location is in downtown Newton, but we had to... More

Staff was friendly and helpful. When we called for the reservaiton, the staff we spoke with really worked to provide the best rate. They seemed to care about our needs. Good quality for a fair price. The rooms are somewhat outdated but are clean. The hotel is pet friendly.

We spent two nights here. The staff was great - everyone at the front desk was helpful and polite. The room didn't have enough outlets, so they had a power strip by the head of the bed to plug everything in to. The mattress was only about 6 inches thick and not very comfortable. There was mold on one side... More
