I drive truck in the lower 48 and Canda. I have stayed at many hotels and have never been treated with more respect and "family" attitude than at the Econo Lodge. My company pays of my room so cost is nothing. What's important to me is having a clean quiet room I can relax in. I did stay in a... more

I have stayed at the hotel several times before and it has always been an enjoyable time, and I miss it when I have to leave!!! And yes we have... more

We booked the hotel room for my little girls 4th birthday. I thought we could hang out at the pool, eat, snack, etc.. We got a pool side room and it was filthy. The bathroom smelled like pee. Carpets were stained and dirty. The pool WAS GREEN. Both my little girls woke up sick from swimming in it. There were... more

The Henry viii suite had no air conditioner upstairs. The steps are steep and narrow. They offered us to stay in northern lights. I had to buy a fan in order to blow cool air into the bedroom. It was suppose to have stereo and it was gone, no remote for TV in Bdrm. The hot tub did not have... more

We stay here about once a year on Easter weekend (this is our 6th-7th stay here). Yes, it is rough around the edges, but we've NEVER had a bad experience here outside of the drunks that seem to inhabit every hotel from sea to shining sea. I've only been to the downstairs bar once. Seemed fine to me although one... more

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This is the most disgusting hotel in Muscatine, Iowa. There are cockroaches, bed bugs, the pool is freezing. When i was there, my children were asked to get out of the pool. I asked the guy why and he said the chemicals were unsafe. I thanked him and immediately got my children out of there. What... more

We stayed here for a tournament this past weekend - the team was looking for a cheap place, and thats exactly what it was. The place is dark and dirty. Very run down. When we walked in to the room - it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years - stains on the floor - some fresh- dirty surfaces... more

We arrived on June 21 at promptly 4 p.m. for our check-in. First impression as I walked up to the front door started off bad. The door frame as you walk into the lobby was rotting and looked like it was about to fall in. I walked into the lobby and was greeted by the odor of stale cigarette smoke.... more

The Econo Lodge is Muscatine is not a bad place at all. We were greeted by a very friendly desk clerk and everything seemed to be in order as far as desk operations. We were very pleased by our double queen room and were quite impressed with the pool area at the hotel. The breakfast in the morning was great... more

Avoid this hotel if you can. We stayed on Feb 15 in one of their Phantasuites and it was very trashy. The comforter had cigarette burns, the hot tub had a stopper that was too big and so the water kept draining, our sink was plugged, etc. It got so noisy at 2am that we called the front desk and... more
