We loved our stay at this hotel and plan to return. The staff were helpful, the room had all the amenities I enjoy and the rate for the night includes a wonderful breakfast at the diner next door. The only downside was the noise created by the heat system in the room next door that woke me up several times.... More

If you are looking for a resort, than this is NOT it. That being said, I am not too sure how many folks vacation in Missouri Valley, Iowa. I found the room reasonably priced as I lodged here last month. Included in the weekly price was 7 dining tickets at Penny's Diner which is in the parking lot of the... More

Well, this is my first poor rating of all times. First about Penny's... Food was horrible. Mashed potatoes were faux (from a box). The green beans were inedible. Meat loaf was dried out and tasteless. Maybe it was the time of day we were there (6 PM), but nothing was fresh. Yeah, there were locals coming in to eat, but... More

I would go back on account of the good breakfast they provide that comes with your room but the room itself left me feeling a bit disappointed. They didn't have any shampoos in the room and when I called to ask for some, the receptionist was none too friendly. Also, there weren't enough towels or wash cloth in the bathroom.... More

Great hotel and staff. Clean rooms and very courteous staff. Close to main roads in a cozy, small town. Includes free breakfast at Penny's Diner. Be sure to go to Penny's for lunch or dinner and try the pork tenderloin sandwich!

We stopped here for 1 night on our cross country trip. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast included was the best. You ordered off the menu at Penny's Diner which is located on the property. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

only problem I had was the shower was barely warm to begin with and became cool at the end. Everthing else was good check in was easy, all amenities were great. Food at the diner is tasty, check in and out was quick and easy, free breakfast at diner was great

Very great hotel. Just outside of big city, but close enough to get to. Bed was very comfortable and room clean and quite. Diner next door is actually the registration also, and they are very friendly and have great food. Highly recommend this place. Feel it is a hidden gem

Such a nice, cute little motel (and Diner). Very pleasant and friendly folks. This is a basic 1-stop type motel (perfect for our mid-cross country road trip). Room was really basic, but clean and comfortable. Bathroom was all handicapped set-up; walk-in shower with a folding seat, high toilet (we didn't request this and I'm not sure if all rooms are...
