Sally was so generous, flexible, and accommodating with our "musical room" situation for our party of 7!!! The food is lovingly prepared and delicious! Walked to the Mason City Brewery, the Quarry, and Chop Restaurant... great location!

Stayed at the Decker House overnight on a last minute trip to IC for a funeral. Wished I could have stayed a bit longer and taken better advantage of the lovely house. Sally generously accommodated some of my last minute logistics issues. The price of the Decker House was better than those of local chain motels! Breakfast was great and... More

A wonderful B&B and a wonderful hostess. Our one night stay in the midst of a hurried, cross-country drive left us wishing we could have stayed longer. Everything about this B&B was excellent. As a person with MCS (multiple chemical sensitivities,) I am always on guard for triggers - exposure to room fresheners, scented cleaning products, laundry detergents, etc. No... More

My wife told me to give it as many +'s as possible. The room was clean and the shower was sparkling. The towels were luxurious (Jennifer Lopez) and the water was soft. The room was cozy. I wish we could have stayed more than one night!

A great innkeeper makes for a great stay, and Sally, whom I know only by her first name, because she's that personable, made our weekend visit everything we might want it to be. The Decker House is owned by a civic foundation, and she runs the inn for them. We were greeted warmly, she was helpful in every way, and... More

Stayed in this bed and breakfast for one night and I was not very impressed with the cleanliness -there was hair in the shower and I wondered when the last time they cleaned their floors as they had a black appearance to them. I also came across hair on the bedspread. Breakfast wasn't that great either as the quiche was... More

We stayed here for a small family gathering, and overall our stay was fantastic. I loved the location, which was within easy walking distance of great restaurants, the library, MacNider Art Museum, Meredith Willson museum, and everything downtown. The hosts were very welcoming, attentive, and flexible with everything about our stay. Breakfast each morning was something fresh and fantastic. The... More

We loved our stay at Decker House and would highly recommend it. The owners were warm and friendly, the breakfasts delicious, and our room was probably the cleanest room we have ever stayed in, including the bathroom. Towels were plush and thick, bed very comfortable. If you are in Mason City to visit Music Man Square or the Frank Lloyd... More

The Decker House is wonderful. The co-owners are a mother/daughter duo who made our stay feel like staying with an old friend. We were greeted upon our arrival with a warm welcome and a warm plate of cookies. We payed for a single room but when we arrived, had the choice to upgrade to a slightly larger room and bed... More
