We stayed at the Bell Inn a couple of weeks ago on a Secret Escapes 'deal', which included two nights dinner bed and breakfast. The hotel is in the heart of the New Forest and has 27 rooms and also two golf courses next to the hotel, so it does also cater for a lot of golf breaks as well.... More

A lovely second stay at The Brook lived up to our previous experience. Ideal position for seeing the New Forest. Pleasant comfortable rooms in a beautiful hotel. The staff are ALL friendly and helpful at all times. Nice addition to obtain the VIP discount card. Breakfasts lovely and the evening meal we had there was delicious too. We will be... More

I went to stay at the Bell Inn for the weekend with my family. We arrived and were greeted and looked after by the lovely lady at reception and then taken to our rooms. We then had a few drinks at the bar and had supper. The food was delicious and very well presented. Between us we had an array... More

This was our second visit to the Bell Inn as we liked it so much the first time, made even better when we were given a discount card that takes 10% off food and drink to use for future visits. The food is of an excellent standard and well presented. Try the fish pie and queen of puddings. beautuful !... More

I did a last minute booking so had no choice but to book a double room at 119.00 pounds. Having checked on-line previously I was hopeful that I would get one of the more up to date "designer" styled rooms with bright and modern wallpaper and furnishings. Chance you take at late booking, and I didnt. The room was at... More

I am 24, me and my partner stayed here over easter after reading great reviews, we payed £169 for the 'manor room' we had a dog and had booked online, apparently you can only have dogs in certain rooms and the one we had booked did not allow dogs, we were grateful they let us off for the night with... Perfect getaway close to the New Forest. Nice quiet hotel with cosy rooms. Staff made us feel very welcome. Ask for Siouxsie (pronounced Susie) at the bar. She's the life and soul of the party. Made our stay!

A lovely individual hotel that has had much care and thought put into it. Room was large an airy. Nice seating area/garden. Exceptional food (although perhaps a little overpriced). Polite and well turned out staff throughout the hotel. Will DEFINITELY visit again.

A very unimpressive 3* hotel. Noisy, disorganised (when the Manager was't there). Room 10 has a shower but no bath and my father couldn't get hot water from either there or the sink taps. The room was tiny and he struggled to move around the bed. I had a twin on the ground floor (room 1) facing the road, which... More
