Wanted to stay somewhere different during my work travels as anyone can stay in a regular old hotel room. I'm glad I did. Room was very spacious and quant. The owners were very nice and went out of their way. Brian scraped the ice off my vehicle the next morning and cleared a walkway so I would not fall and... More

Thank you for your kind words. Since it was an icy morning I was already trying to get the ice off the parking lot, I was happy to get your car freed up so you could travel safely. Hope to see you again if your in the area. Thanks Brian More

Best Bed and Breakfast to date. We will be back in the summer, maybe for a reunion. This was an amazing adventure. Although the weather was less than cooperative, the owner's went out of their way to make it a great stay. We were able to take a peek into all the rooms over the two days we stayed. Beautiful... It was great meeting you when you stayed with us. I have just figured out how to respond on Trip Advisor so I thought I would write a quick note. Please stay with us again if your back to see the Amana Colonies or if you need a place to relax. Thanks for staying with us. Brian More

This is a hidden gem! It has the most spacious, fun rooms for a very reasonable cost. The staff is very kind and everything is well maintained. They do a great job of keeping everything running smoothly and the breakfast was very good. I will definitely go back.

looking for a birthday get-away, I found Zuber's and booked the Red Carpet Room. We loved everything about the hotel; and the hot tub in our room was a perfect ending to a perfect day! Would highly recommend this place! Friendly, homey, very clean, and beautifully decorated. Not to mention the amazing breakfast. A home-away-from home kind of stay. Awesome!

Had a delightful stay at Zubber's. Room was super clean and comfortable. Homemade breakfast buffet was delicious and staff very friendly. We stayed on the first floor and has some noise from the room above but no more so that a midrange hotel. Can't wait to return!

We were traveling through Iowa and stopped at Zuber's which is in the Amana Colonies. We didn't have reservations but they had a wonderful room available. This hotel is historic and is updated with each room having a different theme that represents the area. The breakfasts are delicious and there is a tasty treat in the afternoons. The inn keepers... We spent two nights at Zuber's (8/8-10) and had the best time ever! The Amana Colonies were beautiful with enough to keep us busy for two days straight. The food in town was amazing and very German. The pickled beets were my favorite. Zuber's Hotel was the best! The room was VERY clean and the staff could not have been... More

We've been stopping at the Amana Colonies in Iowa for 40 years. We had our family reunion dinner at Zubers when it was a restaurant. In the past ten years new owners have transformed the building into a hotel. I think of it more as a bed and breakfast. We stayed two nights in July 2014, and it was wonderful.... More

We were in the area to visit relatives and tour Amana Colonies. Zubers is an old building originally built in the late 1800s. There are 15 rooms, all different and all with local themed designs. We were in what used to be the Geranium Room. It was on the first floor, close to the back door so we could unload... More

A friend and I stayed there recently for a girls weekend in the colonies. This place is a perfect mixture between a hotel and a bed & breakfast. We originally were staying in room 7, but not long after getting there we were very aware of the two families with children above us. I called the front desk and he... More
