My husband and I have just returned home after a two night stay at the historic Mrs. B's Bed and Breakfast in Lanesboro, Minnesota. I have to say we experienced a charming restful stay with gracious hosts, comfortable surroundings and wonderful food! Terry and Ginger were friendly but professional. They had only been running the inn for one week and yet they had eveything running smoothly and had added their own touches. Mrs. B's has had some unfortunate reviews in the last year or so, having been in foreclosure and then being owned by the local bank! Terry and Ginger are experienced owners of a very successful bed and breakfast and they are determined to make those bad experiences a thing of the past! Breakfast one day was an excellent crab quiche, muffin, fruit, juice and excellent coffee. The next morning we had bread pudding, fruit, juice and more of that wonderful coffee! The inn is right on the main street next to all of the restaurants and shopping yet quiet at night... more
