We had a great room. Huge king size bed, sparkling clean white sheets, small couch. I had asked for a ground floor room and they had it waiting for me. It was a hot weekend and the A/C was nice and cold. Lots of people in the breakfast room in the morning and we had other breakfast plans so I... More

The place is a dive... And it is listed as a choice hotel... Kleenex stuffed into holes in the wall. Thinking it was a peep hole. The room smelled horrid. The ceiling fan in the bathroom leaked and the light switches barely worked.. This place is horrible.

You get what you pay for. Good for a quick overnight stay. Front desk staff were very friendly, room was clean but the beds are hard. Breakfast only goes until 9, and not much seating area. Could hear the shower from the other room on one side, and the maid using the vacuum on the other side. So, don't plan... More

I stayed here because I had on-the-fly decided to extend my stay in the area by one night, and there wasn't room where I had stayed the previous two nights. The building looks a bit worn on the outside, and that continues inside. The front desk people were friendly and efficient. I was on the 2nd floor, and the hallway... More

Just needed a place to sleep, shower and make coffee in the a.m. This Motel was easy access and reasonable. They provided a small coffee pot which worked out perfectly for my morning coffee (Bullet Proof) to get me on my way home. Air conditioner worked well, slept great.

Just barely acceptable and borderline scary. If the owners don't make some updates soon, this property will be in peril. Our mattresses were well worn, old picture tube TV, stains on the chairs (we joked it must've been the scene of the murder) and an overall funky smell in the hallways. We were greeted with a healthy dose of bleach... More

This Econolodge is located on Merle Hay Road, a very busy commercial area with car dealers, fast food restaurants and stores. The motel looks dumpy on the outside, but the inside was very nice and my room was fine. There were lots of electrical outlets with two power strips in the room, a microwave and refrigerator, and a tube TV... More

We paid $100 for a non smoking room with two beds. It was a little dated and in average condition. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were good as well. Continental breakfast was average. No big complaints. The disappointing part is that we stayed at a brand new Fairfield Inn next to Lake Michigan for $93 on the same... More

I wasn't expecting much given the low price but this inn is a great value. The room was clean and comfortable and exceeded my expectations. My only complaint would be that the heater was noisy. I will definitely stay here again.
