We thought the staff to be very thoughtful and helpful. The hotel is very clean and beds were very comfortable with extra pillows. Enjoyed the flat screen television as well. Breakfast was very good. Waffles, hard boiled eggs, sausage gravy w/biscuits. Also all the other standard items such as bagels, muffins, toast etc etc. Very tasty. Would definitely stay there... more

A typical newer Fairfield. Clean and quiet. Great TV. Internet works pretty well. Breakfast is typical of Fairfields (nothing fancy), but it's a free bite. Restaurant at neighboring property is good, and there are a few other options within a 10 minute walk (no sidewalks, though). A little bit of airport noise, but nothing too bad. more

After staying at the Bates Motel in downtown Des Moines, I got moved here to be close to the airport. Lovely, new, clean hotel with all amenities -- computers, breakfast, coffee, flat panel TVs comfy beds, fitness room etc. Great place to stay! Would stay there again in a heartbeat! more

This hotel was really lovely and the location is great, if you need to be near the airport or the South Side for any reason. I loved the decor, the soft "mood" lighting above the bed, and it was very comfortable. Johnny's Italian Steakhouse is right next door (and excellent) and does room delivery. AMAZING hotel. Brand new. Spotless. Incredible service. This hotel is about 2 miles from DSM international airport. They have park and fly and provide a free shuttle. Free breakfast (waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, bagels, muffins etc.). Great pool and exercise room. more
