The Best Western web site does not do this hotel justice. The rooms were beautiful and spotless. It looked like everything had just been given a fresh coat of paint and new linens. We stayed in one of the king suites. At $109.00, this was a great bargain. Our boys, 10 and 12, slept on the fold out sofa in... more

This was a one-night stopover on a trip from Mpls to Springfield, IL. At first, I was put off by the "old" feel to the hotel, but that is an intentional theme to go with the King Arthur motif. The room was clean, and the staff was friendly. The pool area and the pool itself was really nice - attractive... more

This hotel was great on the inside. Clean, comfortable, although the room set-up was somewhat inconvenient. The bathroom door was right next to the bed, with the sink around the corner. My car was parked on the KFC side and someone broke into it over the night. Don't stay here unless your have nothing of value in your car, or... more

This was a unique hotel that's for sure. I liked the medieval theme. My room was on the corner and so my bed was in the middle of the octagon shaped tower (like on the corners of castles). The bed was up a few steps from the "living room" area with a railing/balcony overlooking the living room, which I really... more

We were visiting the University hospital and used a list of nearby hotels to make our decision. When traveling for something like this, I've stayed at other Best Westerns and they were fine (you get what you pay for; when I want the W I stay at the W). When we checked in, we discovered our room had a sliding... more

Unique hotel. Seems alot different from the last time I was there. There is a decent free breakfast, and a really neat pool area. The resturant is only open for dinner, which I don't like because the food is great and they should have a lunch to accomidate their guests. However, overall a great stay more

My husband and I stayed here with my mother-in-law during an unexpected trip to Iowa City. We stayed in room 152 which has pool access. The indoor pool and hot tubs were fun when we needed to relax, and our nieces really enjoyed them. The breakfast was above average, but not fantastic. We liked that it was pool side. The... more

We live less than one mile away, and my kids ask to stay here every year for a few days in the winter, even over the waterparks in the area! The decor is really awesome and the swimming pool is always warm--plus hot tubs! The continental breakfast is great, and the restaurant is terrific. We have been trying out the... more

We stayed in the tower suite with the living room below and the bed and jacuzzi up stairs. The room was clean, the bed was only a double, and the heart shaped jacuzzi only had cold water coming out of the jets even though the water in the jacuzzi was very hot. There are no elevators, so be careful to... more
