When we arrived at the hotel there were people in front of us in line who were taken care of swiftly, just as we were. Once we got to our room which was wonderful the phone rang. It was the man from the front desk calling to make sure our room was suitable for us. When I told him I... more

A tree fell on our house, so we needed to find a place for a short period of time, until an extended stay hotel opened up. Complicating matters was the horrendous flooding of the past month, with work crews, FEMA staff and displaced families all looking for lodging. The hotel manager, Karen, went out of her way to find us... more

Out of all the Country Inn & Suites that I have stayed in, this has been by far my worse experience with them. As mentioned above, the morning breakfast was Poor. It took over 2 hours to get some towels to the pool area. Our toilet over flowed in our room and the front desk said to come get a... more

I stayed while in town visiting the university. The front desk staff wan't friendly and the local food that was available for late delivery wasn't good. I woke up to a room full of ANTS!!!!!!!! The hotel did nothing to try to fix the situation..I wouldn't recomend this hotel to anyone. All other country Inn and suites I have seen... more

We stayed here 1 night, we were taking our daughter to doctor in Iowa City. We like to stay at Country Inn and Suites so tried this one. It wasn't as nice as others we've been to. First room smelled wet and musty, next room was ok. Couldn't really control the heat in the room. Had to yell hello at... more

When we checked in the person at the front desk was not friendly at all but we did finally did get our room. It was the weekend so the hotel was pretty full but our door to our room was open and won't shut all of the way unless you slammed hard with your shoulder, again same person at the... more

Just walk in the front door of the hotel and try to check in. You'll notice a sign on the front desk that reads "Just yell hello." Well, we yelled hello several times and nobody greeted us. I finally called into the breakfast room and there the manager was apparently visiting with guests. He's a friendly guy, but not very... more

Stayed one night on a business trip. Quiet room on first floor. Everything clean and fairly new. Very good, comfortable, firm bed. Unfortunately, breakfast was poor. The waffle maker wasn't cooking the waffle fully despite two cycles. Hot breakfast was egg substitute with a few pieces of sausage or biscuits and gravy. No fresh fruit other than apples/bananas. No donuts.... more
